"I love this place. There is no decent takeout food, anywhere in King City, Missouri, but the town next door Stanbury has a lot of wonderful things. And one of them is the Taste E Freeze. They're dilly, bars are out of this world. They are dipped in tons of chocolate with a very smooth and tasty vanilla ice cream inside. So much yumminess on a stick! And don't forget the tenderloins and the fried mushrooms, they make the perfect dinner."

"The food is great, the few mistakes have been fixed quickly, and the atmosphere is a nice retro kinda feel. This place is also in support of the stanberry school and their senior class! I go just to support the kids and get an amazing blizzard."

"Taste “E” Freeze was a pleasant stop for an ice cream treat. I was surprised to find non-ice cream items on the menu! It was definitely a nostalgic stop. Ordering at one window and pick-up at another. The picnic tables are wonderful for those who stay to enjoy the food. I loved my butterscotch dipped cone, my son enjoyed his marshmallow shake, and my hubs enjoyed a peanut butter malt. We did end up getting an order of mushrooms before we hit the road. We will definitely make a day trip up to Stanberry to stop at the Taste “E” Freeze."
